Golf Fitness Research Study 2011:

PHYSICAL CAUSES OF EARLY HIP EXTENSION

FitGolf Performance Center is constantly working to improve the understanding of how the body affects the golf swing.  We are looking for golfers of all ability and skill levels who would like to volunteer in our golf fitness research that examines this relationship.  This research will look at the physical causes of early hip extension (moving the pelvis towards the golf ball during the golf swing).  Our goal is to identify risk factors that are linked to pain, inconsistency, or poor performance in golf. We hope to identify factors that help golfers play golf better, longer, safer and pain free.

The Golf Fitness Research will be performed at the FitGolf Performance Center located at 1000 3rd Avenue SW, Suite 100,Carmel, In 46032.  There is no cost to participate in the research.

Each participant will need to be assessed for 30 minutes for us to capture each part of the project and will receive a $100 certificate towards FitGolf Performance services.  The findings will be presented at The World Golf Fitness Summit 2012 sponsored by The Titleist Performance Institute.

To participate, please call Tracy Chapman, TPI Golf Fitness Specialist at 317.816.9135 to set up your 30 minute appointment. You can also email her at tchapman@fitgolf.com
