Each comprehensive Golf Performance Program is based on the golfer’s goals, physical characteristics collected from the initial consultation, evaluation and assessments. Objective baseline measurements of function will be used for future comparisons.
Consultation begins with a discussion of the golfer’s needs and wants. It is critical that the golfer understand how physical characteristics have a direct, functional relationship to their swing efficiency.
The Golf Performance Evaluation begins the development of the training program. This series of functional screens and physical testing will help diagnose any dysfunctions relative to the golfer’s current levels of balance, posture, mobility, stability, strength, power and coordination. If any dysfunctions are identified during the evaluation, treatment will be recommended to include releasing tight muscles, re-educating and re-building movement patterns. A progression of corrective exercises will be performed to clear and remove these limitations. Focus will be on developing the physical performance factors prior to moving on to advanced training techniques.
State of the art technology, The Dynamic Balance System and K-Vest 3D Swing Motion technology are utilized to assess balance, weight transfer and swing motion efficiency. The golfer’s physical capabilities will be matched with their swing compensations and the appropriate motor skill drills will be added to the custom designed golf performance program.
